Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America is seeking a Director, Human Resources Business Partner for Nevada Projects to design and execute the human capital strategy from FEED to commissioning. This high-visibility role requires scaling teams, managing complex labor dynamics, and maintaining a high-performance culture under pressure to drive project outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Deep understanding of PMBOK and Agile as they relate to human capital.
• Proficiency with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HCM systems.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Workforce Planning: Architect the multi-year headcount strategy across FEED, Execution, and Operations.
• Executive Advisory: Advise project leadership with data-driven insights on organizational health and risk.
• Talent Acquisition & Mobility: Partner with recruitment to source specialized talent and manage mobilizations and relocations.
• Organizational Design: Build scalable org structures for ramp up/down, ensuring knowledge transfer.
• Talent Development: Champion succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
• Culture transformation: Lead integration efforts and large-scale change initiatives.
• Labor & Employee Relations: Navigate complex labor environments, including union negotiations and contractor management.
• Culture & Safety Leadership: Embed a Safety First culture within HR to prioritize well-being.
