Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti is seeking the Director of People Data & Analytics to lead a global analytics function, shaping the strategy, data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics across the enterprise. You will manage a team of analysts to deliver scalable dashboards and tools aligned with HR objectives.

The role interfaces with regional units, COEs, and executive leadership to translate complex metrics into actionable insights and drive data-driven workforce decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems and data management or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• Professional certifications in People Analytics, SAP SuccessFactors, Databricks, Power BI are preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HRIS, people data, and reporting/analytics leadership experience in multi-national organizations.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale global HR technology or analytics projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global People Analytics function and establish strategic roadmap, data architecture, governance, and analytics capabilities.
• Develop aligned KPIs to measure HR, workforce productivity, and talent-process efficiency.
• Oversee data models, visualization tools, and databases across SAP SuccessFactors, Databricks, Power BI and related systems.
• Direct advanced analytics initiatives including predictive modeling, NLP, and sentiment analysis.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance with GDPR and SOX/ITGC standards.
• Drive UX improvements, self-service dashboards, and analytics storytelling for executives.
