Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America Inc. seeks a Staff Geologist to support exploration and resource development in Nevada. You will execute field programs, logging, sampling, data management, and interpretation to advance targets and project objectives.

Under supervision, you will maintain safety, QA/QC, and documentation, coordinating with drilling contractors and technicians to deliver accurate geological information for decision-making and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred; mining experience beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate in remote field environments.
• Experience with GIS, data management, and QA/QC protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute exploration programs including drilling support, mapping, sampling, and field data collection.
• Perform geological logging of drill core and RC chips with QA/QC.
• Coordinate with contractors and field staff to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Compile data and contribute to geological interpretations and reports.
