Job summary

The Community Solution is seeking a Director of Human Resources in the United States to lead HR operations, service delivery, and the Generalist team. You will translate people strategy into operational practices and supervise employee lifecycle support from onboarding to separation.

You will collaborate with HR Systems, Workforce Development, Benefits, and Legal to ensure compliant, consistent programs and to drive continuous improvement across System Office HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
• 3–5 years of HR leadership or management experience.
• Experience in employee relations, HR operations, and full employee lifecycle support.
• Experience supporting organizational restructuring and workforce planning.
• Experience in higher education or multi-location environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day HR operations and service delivery.
• Lead and develop Senior HR Generalists and HR Generalists.
• Oversee full employee lifecycle support from recruitment to separation.
• Manage employee relations matters and risk assessment.
• Partner with institutions to align HR processes and standards.
• Advise on organizational change and workforce planning.
• Lead compensation administration including market pricing and salary recommendations.
• Collaborate with Benefits on benefits and leave programs.
• Work with Workforce Development to link learning and engagement.
• Advise on HR systems enhancements and process improvements.
• Foster leadership and cross-functional collaboration across HR.
• Make decisions and escalate where needed; serve as escalation point.
