Job summary

Capital One seeks a Director, HRBP for its Tech clients to shape people strategy and drive talent initiatives. Based in McLean, VA, you will partner with senior leaders to implement workforce plans, leadership programs, and data-driven HR solutions that align with business goals.

You will collaborate with executives and HR peers to translate business strategy into talent actions and lead enterprise HR initiatives with a focus on value, equity, and strategic risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelors degree or military experience.
• MBA or masters degree preferred.
• HR certification at professional or senior level.
• 9+ years of client-facing or consulting experience in HR.
• Extensive experience in HR or HC consulting.

Responsibilities

• Consult with senior executives and HR partners to drive HR strategy.
• Lead talent strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Develop workforce planning, succession planning, and recruitment/retention strategies.
• Assess human capital risks and develop remediation plans.
• Provide executive coaching and leadership development.
• Lead enterprise HR projects and measure program effectiveness.
• Coach and develop HR teams and partners.

Education

Bachelors Degree or Military Experience

MBA or Masters degree

Professional Human Resources Certification

Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification

9+ years of client facing experience or 9+ years of consulting experience or a combination

9+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting
