Job summary

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) seeks a Director of Housing Services to lead its supportive housing programs serving formerly homeless individuals and families. With a $3.0 million services budget and 38 FTEs, you will ensure client-centered service delivery aligned with ECS mission and funding requirements.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive experience in human services administration.
• Experience in supportive housing and/or service delivery for homeless and very low-income families/individuals.
• Master’s degree in social work, nonprofit administration or related human services field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physical and behavioral health needs of ECS clients.
• Knowledge of harm reduction practices.
• Knowledge of housing and homeless services funding sources (public and private).
• Commitment to ECS’s mission and values.
• Ability to maintain organizational focus with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Collaborative work style, initiative and flexibility.
• Ability to influence, mediate and negotiate.
• Highest integrity and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and administers ECS’s Housing Services to retain housing and meet residents’ health and social needs.
• Fosters collaboration among Housing Services staff and partners for integrated services.
• Develops and manages public/private partnerships for housing, social and health services.
• Maintains client data and reporting systems.
• Facilitates quality assurance and program evaluation with senior staff.
• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates staff; supports professional development.
• Provides direct supervision to Associate Directors and Clinical Services Manager.
• Ensures a productive work environment and cross-program coordination.
• Collaborates with Director of Behavioral Health to support CE staff.
