Job summary

Abode is seeking a Director of Housing to provide oversight for housing programs in the Northern Regions. This senior management role leads program development, ensures funding compliance, and collaborates with external partners to advance our mission to end homelessness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10 years in human services, and nonprofit leadership with housing programs. Frequent travel across the region is expected, and the successful candidate will guide staff and drive strategic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of professional experience in human services or related field.
• 5 years nonprofit management with housing programs for homeless populations.
• Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to all assigned Housing Programs and housing components of other programs, ensuring compliance with funding regulations and program goals.
• Collaborate with agency management and participate in Senior Management meetings addressing finances, HR, and operations.
• Coach and supervise staff, provide feedback, training, and performance evaluations.
• Support data-driven evaluations and contribute to annual public reporting of outcomes.
• Maintain community relations and coordinate with external partners to advance housing initiatives.
