Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced HEOR leader for a site-based role at our global headquarters in Foster City, CA or at our Parsippany, NJ facility. This hybrid position requires three in-office collaboration days (Tues–Thurs) with optional remote Monday and Friday.

You will lead development and implementation of global HEOR strategies to support marketed LIVE products and pipeline, partnering across clinical development, marketing, medical affairs, and market access.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years in pharma industry and/or managed care with HEOR experience.
  • Expertise in HEOR assessments and in designing/executing HEOR studies and models.
  • Experience developing global value dossiers.
  • Understanding of US/global healthcare systems and reimbursement decision-making.
  • Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in viral hepatitis and/or PBC US managed care (plus).
  • Advanced degree in HEOR.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of global HEOR strategies and programs to support key marketed LIVE products and the treatment pipeline as a strategic cross-functional partner.
  • Advocate subject matter expertise to strengthen commercialization activities, including cross-functional alignment with clinical development, marketing, medical affairs, and market access.
  • Partner with cross-functional business partners to develop/support product value propositions to optimize access, reimbursement, and uptake.
  • Identify global HEOR evidence requirements and gaps; design, conduct, and deliver studies, models, and tools to support value demonstration and product differentiation for assigned indications.
  • Provide HEOR input into clinical development programs.
  • Partner with HEOR COE to support PRO strategy development.
  • Maintain awareness of industry regulatory issues and relationships with HEOR KOLs.
  • Disseminate HEOR data and study results.

Job description

Salary Range:
  • Bay Area: $226,185–$292,710; Other US locations: $205,615–$266,090.
  • May be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
