Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Director of Infrastructure & Operations in Austin to lead enterprise infrastructure, cloud, Epic infrastructure, networking, and end-user technology. The role focuses on readiness for a new hospital, scaling capabilities, and improving IT customer experience.

The leader will own Azure strategy, drive reliability, disaster recovery, and incident response, and manage budgets, vendors, and people across multiple technology domains. Strong healthcare infra background required.

Qualifications

• Direct infrastructure ownership for an organization that owns and operates its own Epic environment.
• Infrastructure leadership experience within a hospital or health system.
• Customer-facing IT leadership across service desk, desktop support, customer success, ITSM, or similar functions, with demonstrated service improvements.
• Experience leading a significant infrastructure build, modernization, expansion, integration, or scaling initiative.
• Meaningful Microsoft Azure/hybrid-cloud infrastructure experience at the leadership or architecture level.
• 7+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure leadership across multiple technology areas.
• Experience with reliability, disaster recovery, major incident response, vendors, budgets, and people leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise infrastructure and end-user technology/customer success teams.
• Improve IT support, SLAs, escalations, response times, and overall customer experience.
• Own Azure strategy and provide leadership over Epic infrastructure.
• Lead technology and infrastructure readiness for a new hospital.
• Modernize and scale networking, cloud, compute, and related infrastructure.
• Own reliability, disaster recovery, incident management, service metrics, key vendors, budgets, and team development.
• Present infrastructure strategy, risks, investments, and performance to executive leadership.
