Job summary

enGen is seeking a senior data interoperability strategist to lead HIP and provider data exchange. You will guide the architecture for HL7/FHIR-based workflows, APIs, and data pipelines, ensuring secure, scalable access for Highmark Health and partner networks.

You will manage production data platforms, oversee quality control, and drive continuous improvement while balancing speed and accuracy across multiple teams and clinical/program contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or health informatics required.
• 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree allowed.
• 7+ years in Data Analytics and healthcare IT delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic roadmap and execution for healthcare data exchange across payer and provider ecosystems.
• Implement robust data integration using HL7 V2, FHIR, and APIs to support clinical workflows and population health initiatives.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations; develop policies and programs; may have budgetary responsibility.
