Job summary

Hippocratic AI Inc. is seeking a Director of Integration Engineering to lead the team building and operating technical connections between Hippocratic AI and every EHR and health system environment we work with.

You will own the production integration and development shop end to end, including architecture, delivery, on-call reliability, and engineering practices that keep partner go-lives on schedule and interfaces running cleanly in production.

Qualifications

3+ years managing a production integration and/or software development team.
8+ years in healthcare integration engineering with Epic, Cerner or athenahealth experience preferred.
Experience delivering integrations with GitHub and Jira; on-call ownership.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field.
Deep knowledge of HL7 v2 messaging, HL7/FHIR APIs, and flat file interfaces.
Experience with integration engines (InterSystems IRIS) and data workflows.
Experience leading distributed teams (US and India) and partnering with IT/clinical staff.

Responsibilities

Lead and own the production integration and development shop end to end.
Set standards for integration architecture and delivery across Epic, Cerner and athenahealth.
Collaborate with Product, Partnerships, and partner IT teams to scope work.
Manage engineers across the US and India; own on-call reliability.
Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub and Jira.
Ensure production interfaces have monitoring and clear escalation paths.
Drive go-live timelines and prevent production incidents.
