Qualified Health is seeking a Director of Epic Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a dedicated team embedded at client sites, overseeing the end-to-end Epic integration journey from discovery to live AI-powered tool delivery. You will navigate Epic interfaces, engage CIO/CMIO leadership, and drive multi-site deployments with a focus on scalable playbooks.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in healthcare IT, Epic implementation, or clinical informatics with at least 2 years in a leadership/principal role.
• Deep hands-on experience with Epic’s integration ecosystem: Bridges, SMART on FHIR, CDS Hooks, MyChart, and In Basket / SendMessage API.
• Proven track record running Epic go-lives or directing implementations at Epic partner organizations, Epic consulting firms, or large health systems.
• Executive-level communication—comfortable presenting architecture decisions to a health system CTO and engaging clinical champions.
• Experience managing client relationships end-to-end, including scope negotiation and stakeholder alignment across large health systems.
• Familiarity with FHIR R4 interoperability standards and modern EHR integration patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, clinical, or healthcare-related field.

Aufgaben

• Build and lead a team of Epic Forward Deployed Engineers embedded at client sites, owning end-to-end Epic integrations.
• Serve as executive technical sponsor for 2–3 strategic health system clients at CIO/CMIO level.
• Lead solution design sessions with Epic and clinical informatics teams to map AI outputs to Epic workflows and interfaces.
• Own interface delivery roadmap for each client and manage calendar-driven dependencies.
• Translate client clinical workflow requirements into platform specifications for data engineering and product teams.
• Establish a reusable integration playbook across Epic modules for faster onboarding of new clients.
• Represent QH at governance forums and executive briefings.
• Collaborate with internal Data and Product teams to align forward-deployed work with the core roadmap.
