Job summary

Cypress Creek Renewables seeks a Director, Interconnection Execution to manage interconnection processes for utility-scale solar and storage projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grid interconnection and project management, ensuring compliance with all interconnection agreements.

This role is vital in maintaining project schedules and budgets while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants. Located in Durham, NC, this position allows for a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in grid interconnection, utility project management, or transmission compliance.
• Direct Project Management experience managing GIA compliance obligations.
• Strong working knowledge of FERC LGIP/LGIA frameworks and ISO/RTO interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure executed IAs remain effective through COD for assigned projects.
• Negotiate GIA amendments and facility construction agreements.
• Manage project-specific external consultants to support compliance checklists.
• Own milestone payments and track schedules for disbursements.
• Lead coordination for deficiency and dispute responses.
