Job summary

Points of Light is seeking a Director, Grant Management & Revenue Operations to lead enterprise grant and earned-income workflows from proposal through closeout. You will partner with Finance, Development, and Salesforce teams to design processes, ensure compliance, and drive performance improvements.

The role supervises a Senior Manager and leads staff training, with a focus on scalable workflows, governance, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of grant management, revenue operations, nonprofit operations or related function.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing grant management and grant accounting processes with Finance, including restricted grants, financial documentation and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience configuring or implementing grant accounting workflows in Blackbaud strongly preferred.
• Relevant certification or advanced training in project management, process improvement or grants management (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma or CGMS) preferred.
• Experience supervising staff, leading cross-functional initiatives, developing procedures and training colleagues through process or system changes.
• Working proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM software and Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, SharePoint and Teams; Asana experience preferred.
• Ability to create a welcoming work environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise function, with distinct grant and earned-income workflows.
• Establish priorities, capacity, owners, handoffs, service levels and escalation paths.
• Translate Finance-approved requirements into practical system processes; Finance retains authority over accounting policies, controls and revenue recognition.
• Manage proposals from intake through approval and handoff; coordinate scope, staffing and cost inputs.
• Maintain standard pricing models and proposal-budget templates with input from delivery teams.
• Prepare deal decks and lead documented reviews for material or nonstandard opportunities.
• Manage fundraising and earned-income agreements through Finance-led reviews; retain agreements in Salesforce.
• Oversee kickoffs, calendars and handoffs with approved budgets and deliverables.
• Ensure timely time and milestone documentation for invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate funder and client reports with delivery owners responsible for content.
• Lead staff training, processes adoption and continuous improvement across teams.
