Crusoe Energy Systems LLC in San Francisco is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to own and scale GPU and data center infrastructure for our neocloud platform.

This hands‑on leadership role blends software and hardware, guiding validation platforms, lifecycle automation, and orchestration while overseeing firmware qualification, hardware security, deployments, and data center operations across a rapidly growing fleet.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in infrastructure, data center operations, or fleet management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Deep hands-on expertise with GPU infrastructure.
• Experience leading software and hardware teams.
• Experience operating data center infrastructure in high-growth environments.
• Strong DC fundamentals: power, cooling, networking, security.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and large infra contracts.
• Excellent communication with exec audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day fleet operations and deployments across facilities.
• Oversee firmware qualification and hardware security programs.
• Own validation framework and platform integration.
• Own DCIE responsibilities: power, cooling, networking, security.
• Define reliability KPIs and incident runbooks.
• Manage procurement, CapEx, budgets and vendor SLAs.
• Lead fleet engineers and automation teams to align targets with business outcomes.
