Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a highly technical Head of Engineering to own the GPU infrastructure and HPC platform that powers our cloud simulation capabilities. You will lead engineering across cloud infrastructure, backend, frontend, and developer experience, setting technical direction and growing the team while contributing substantial production code.

Based in New York City with in-person work, you will tackle GPU scheduling, distributed workloads, data pipelines, and scalable storage.

Formación

• 5+ years software development with leadership experience
• Experience building and operating GPU-accelerated cloud systems at scale
• Deep experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, and compute scheduling tools like Ray or Slurm
• Proficiency writing production Python code
• Ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineers
• Strong communication with engineers, customers, and leadership

Responsabilidades

• Own the core platform direction and deliverables for GPU infrastructure at scale
• Oversee GPU scheduling and orchestration across compute pools and cloud providers
• Lead distributed job execution, data pipelines, storage, and reproducible workflows
• Manage dataset/versioning for simulation and ML workloads
• Ensure reliability, observability, incident response, and cost optimization
• Develop engineers and foster end-to-end system ownership
• Promote robust engineering practices across architecture, reviews, releases, and security
