Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking the Head of Government Relations to lead federal and state public policy efforts in the United States from its Washington, DC office. You will oversee legislative, regulatory, and public policy matters and act as the primary external representative for Qcells and its affiliates.

Working with the Head of Corporate Relations and deputies, you will shape the policy agenda, manage relationships with government officials, and ensure alignment across Communications,

Qualifications

• Strategic public policy thinker with track record of delivering legislative outcomes at federal, state and local levels.
• Deep understanding of legislative processes and the actors influencing public policy debates.
• Experience managing advocacy campaigns before multiple levels of government in energy and environment policy.
• Ability to set direction for a unified government relations function including Federal and State affairs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified federal and state public policy agenda.
• Represent Qcells externally to White House, Congress, agencies, governors and state legislatures.
• Build durable relationships with policymakers, regulators, and influencers in DC and key states.
• Lead coalitions and coordinate with corporate affairs and market strategy teams.
