Job summary

Cape is seeking a high-ownership Head of Government Relations to drive government engagement and policy outcomes from Arlington, VA. You will manage external stakeholders, track cross-functional alignment, and bridge intragovernmental challenges with government institutions to protect and expand privacy-forward telecom initiatives.

You will build long-term strategies, map stakeholders, forecast regulatory changes, and shape policies that benefit Cape and its customers, including collaboration

Qualifications

• Operational ownership in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to network with diverse external stakeholders and maintain ties.
• Clear, concise professional communication and understanding of bureaucratic protocol.
• First-hand knowledge of the federal legislative process through lobbying or similar experience.
• Ability to craft multi-year government engagement plans that align with company goals.
• Background in Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related fields.
