Job summary

Mott Corporation, part of the IDEX family, is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager in Farmington, CT to lead export/import compliance programs across facilities under EAR and ITAR. You will manage licensing, recordkeeping, and cross-functional coordination, with exposure to grants and contracts as needed.

The role requires deep knowledge of trade compliance, 5+ years of relevant experience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation and benefits follow.

Qualifications

• Requires associates and/or bachelor’s degree or 10 years of related export/import experience.
• Minimum 5 years of export/import compliance experience with progressively more complex responsibilities.
• Experience in ITAR/EAR/Customs regulations, licensing, government contracting and international trade compliance areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure conformity of U.S. export/import regulations (EAR/ITAR) and related controls.
• Review jurisdiction, tariff codes, ECCN, ITAR, and Country-of-Origin determinations; maintain justification records.
• Coordinate with U.S. Customs Brokers and freight forwarders; audit/import documents for shipments.
• Investigate export/import violations and conduct post-entry corrections.
