Job summary

Mott Corporation in Farmington, CT is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to lead the company’s export and import compliance program across EAR and ITAR. This role partner with engineering, supply chain, and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment and risk mitigation.

You will manage licensing, recordkeeping, and due diligence, and may support government grants and contracts. Candidates should possess deep regulatory knowledge and proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of EAR/ITAR and U.S. export/import regulations.
• Experience building and managing export/import compliance programs.
• Ability to coordinate licensing, recordkeeping, and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with government grants and contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure conformity with EAR/ITAR, U.S. Customs, and related regulations.
• Determine jurisdiction, review HS codes, ECCN, ITAR, and Country-of-Origin determinations.
• Oversee activities with U.S. Customs Brokers and freight forwarders, including document audits.
• Investigate possible export/import violations and conduct post-entry corrections.
