HuFriedyGroup seeks a Director of Strategic Pricing & Value in Des Plaines, IL. This senior role oversees global pricing governance, value capture, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to drive profitable growth and market competitiveness.

The candidate will lead an Enterprise Pricing Committee, manage end-to-end price reviews, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product Management, and Operations to optimize pricing across regions and channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of cross-functional commercial experience in pricing, marketing, product management, sales, pricing, revenue management, commercial strategy or finance.
• Proven leadership in developing and executing pricing strategies in a B2B environment.
• Strong analytical skills with pricing analytics, modeling, and performance dashboards.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross functional initiatives.
• Experience with pricing systems or tools (e.g. Vendavo, PROS, Zilliant, Periscope, or similar).
• Ability to simplify complex data and communicate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern global pricing and value capture strategy.
• Lead end-to-end pricing governance and annual reviews.
• Define pricing policies, approval thresholds, and decision rights.
• Ensure disciplined application of pricing guidelines across regions and channels.
• Establish and lead Enterprise Pricing Committee with Finance, Legal, Sales, and International.
• Develop discounting structures, rebates, and deal pricing guidance.
• Provide pricing support for major negotiations and enterprise accounts.
• Overssee pricing tools, workflows, and escalation processes.
• Build a data-driven pricing analytics capability and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product Management, Operations and IT.
