Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director to lead Ecosystem Risk & Integrity, overseeing High Brand Risk and Prohibited Activity Monitoring. You will guide a team of Risk Specialists, drive modernization, and partner with executives to ensure compliance across domestic and international regulations while enabling sustainable business growth.

You will work across lines of business, evaluate gray area activities, and implement robust transaction monitoring to protect the ecosystem and company reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management or Process Management
• At least 2 years of experience in Operations Management
• At least 2 years of experience in People Management

Responsibilities

• Integrate Intelligence to Critical Risk Processes and validate transaction monitoring with partners and vendors
• Consult with Executives to determine interaction models with Payment Schemes and external participants
• Drive the finalization of the High Brand Risk category and establish risk tolerance guardrails
• Perform anomaly detection and investigations of transactional risk to mitigate regulatory and reputational risk
• Conduct extensive gap assessments of legacy monitoring tools and workflows
• Drive process excellence by automating rule logic and standardizing noncompliance decisions
• Scale governance and oversight through QA frameworks, acquirer monitoring, attestations, and executive reporting
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams across Strategy, Program Administration, Investigations and Operations
