Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Head of Electrical Strategic Supply Chain, a Director-level leader who will architect and execute sourcing across electrical commodities, including semiconductors, wire harnesses, connectors, and PCBA components.

You will build and mentor a global team, manage Tier 1 supplier relationships, drive dual-sourcing and risk mitigation, and work with Engineering and Executive Leadership to secure supply continuity for mission-critical hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in electrical/electronics strategic sourcing, global commodity management, or supply chain leadership within complex hardware manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years leading procurement or supply chain teams.
• Experience negotiating enterprise-level agreements and managing diverse commodity portfolios.
• Proven track record managing supplier lifecycles and complex multi-million-dollar commercial agreements.
• Deep understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) workflows and scaling to high-rate production.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–50% domestically and internationally.
• Willingness to relocate onsite in Costa Mesa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global commodity strategies across electrical sub-tiers (semiconductors, wire harnesses, connectors, PCBA, passives).
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of commodity managers and sourcing engineers.
• Serve as executive sponsor for Tier 1 suppliers, CMs, and key tech partners; establish alliances, JVs, and KPIs.
• Partner with Electrical Engineering and Hardware teams to drive Design for Supply Chain (DfSC).
• Lead negotiations for MSAs, development agreements, LTSA, and SOWs with favorable pricing, IP protection, and terms.
• Identify single-source risks, geopolitical vulnerabilities, and capacity constraints; implement risk mitigation and dual-sourcing.
• Champion should-cost modeling and TCO analyses from concept to end-of-life.
• Report to C-suite and lead executive reviews on critical supply chain matters.
