Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Global Director of Credit and Accounts Receivable to lead our Collections function across multiple geographies from Austin, TX. The role oversees a hybrid team, partners with stakeholders, and drives end-to-end collections lifecycle with focus on SOX compliance and automation.

You will design scalable collections strategies, refine processes, and develop dashboards to inform executive decisions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Global Accounts Receivable, with 10+ years in leadership.
• Experience across Order to Cash processes, including AR operations and billing.
• OTC transformation project experience.
• Familiar with multinational setups and BPO/shared services.
• Strong analytical and strategic focus with automation mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with cloud marketplaces and consumption-based billing.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, tech-driven collections strategies across delinquency stages.
• Oversee collections processes including reminders, bankruptcy, suspensions.
• Collaborate with revenue management to document collectibility risk and compliance.
• Develop credits strategies to identify and remediate portfolio hotspots.
• Drive process improvements through automation and workflow redesign.
• Coach the team using analytics, dashboards, and performance data.
• Lead governance across geographies; align processes with corporate vision.
