Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a senior leader to define and drive the global data strategy for Commercial data assets. You will manage external data vendors, enforce SLAs, and optimize data sourcing to support cross-functional commercial initiatives.

You will partner with CX, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and enterprise teams to ensure governance and scalable data solutions across regions, while maintaining a strong focus on data quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial data strategy or data sourcing within a pharmaceutical organization.
• Experience with external data sourcing and vendor management, including contract negotiation, SLA oversight, and performance optimization of third-party data vendors.
• Strong understanding of commercial data domains (e.g., HCP/HCO, patient, payer) in pharma.
• Experience with data cataloging or data inventory tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead global data strategy for Global Commercial (GCO) roadmap, including evaluating data sources, vendors, and market trends.
• Own data sourcing approach, including vendor selection, contracting approach, and onboarding requirements, ensuring alignment to priority commercial use cases.
• Manage external commercial data vendor portfolio, overseeing vendor relationships, spend, and performance to meet contractual commitments.
• Enforce data contract frameworks and SLA performance standards, monitor vendor delivery, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Drive vendor optimization and rationalization to improve cost efficiency and data effectiveness.
• Maintain the commercial data inventory, documenting data assets for reuse across commercial use cases.
• Collaborate with CX data master, data management, and enterprise data teams on ingestion, integration, and governance standards.
• Promote standardized data governance practices to improve reliability and enable trusted data globally.
