Goodwin is seeking a senior leader to direct Client Engagement Strategy & Sponsorships (Events) within the Global Operations Team. You will shape the strategy, governance, and measurement for client engagements, sponsorships, and client experiences across the firm’s global portfolio.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in client development, client engagement, events, growth strategy, or related discipline.
• Experience in a professional services or complex B2B organization is preferred.
• Proven ability to design and lead operating models, governance, and scalable delivery.
• Experience managing global portfolios, budgets, investments, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial judgment connecting engagement strategy to revenue growth.
• Experience using data, analytics, and client insights to inform strategy and decisions.
• Able to operate as strategic advisor and enterprise operator with execution discipline.
• Demonstrated success leading change, navigating ambiguity, and driving adoption.
• Excellent executive presence and communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proven leadership developing high-performing teams and advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and operating model for the Client Engagements Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Evolve the function into a scalable, commercially focused capability.
• Establish governance for the client engagement lifecycle and measurement.
• Manage the global portfolio of client engagements, events, and sponsorships.
• Create tiered engagement models aligned to audience, investment, outcomes.
• Advise on market-leading engagements and relationship-building strategies.
• Partner with BD leaders to embed engagement strategy into plans.
• Define performance measures and executive reporting on portfolio progress.
• Develop standards and playbooks to improve quality and efficiency.
• Roadmap engagement-related tech, data, and process improvements.
• Lead change management and build cross-market accountability.
• Develop a high-performing, pod-based global team.
• Collaborate with GO Team functions to ensure consistency in events.
