Job summary

Goodwin Procter LLP is seeking a strategic leader to drive the Client Engagements function across the firm. You will shape how engagements, sponsorships, and client experiences are designed and measured to strengthen relationships, create growth opportunities, and differentiate the firm.

You will set governance, operating models, and investment approaches, lead a global, pod-based team, and partner with Development and Industry Groups to embed client engagement into go-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in client development, client engagement, events, growth strategy, or related discipline.
• Proven ability to design and lead operating models, governance structures, prioritization frameworks, and scalable delivery across a global organization.
• Strong commercial judgment linking engagement strategy to revenue growth and pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Set vision, strategy, and operating model for the Client Engagements Center of Excellence.
• Lead a scalable, commercially focused capability delivering value across the firm’s engagements.
• Govern full client engagement lifecycle from intake to post-engagement activation.
• Manage global portfolio of client engagements, events, and sponsorships with careful resource alignment.
• Define performance measures and executive reporting to show relationship progression and pipeline impact.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing pod-based global team.
