Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Director, AI Deployment Management to lead and scale the global ADM organization. The role oversees Builder, Core, and Pilot ADM teams and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, safe, and high-value AI deployments for customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will align deployment strategies with OpenAI’s objectives, drive operational excellence, and build scalable systems that enable durable business value across enterprise deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale the AI Deployment Management strategy across Builder, Core, and Pilot teams.
• Lead and mentor second-line managers and multidisciplinary ADM teams worldwide.
• Drive adoption and operationalization of OpenAI solutions across diverse industries.
• Design scalable processes, tooling, metrics, reporting, and governance for deployments.
• Collaborate with GTM, Product, Engineering, Research, and Customer/Technical Success leaders to align roadmaps with customer needs and feedback.
• Foster organizational scale and mature career pathways within OpenAI's customer success networks.
• Establish a culture of accountability and operational excellence across deployment programs.
