SpaceXSI is seeking a Director of Site Operations to own node and rack uptime across a 24/7, multi-site AI supercompute cluster. You will lead a 250+ person team, drive fault mitigation, and partner across facilities, networking, and tenants to maintain exceptional reliability as the footprint grows.

You will manage SRE efforts, run data-driven improvements, and direct vendor and internal teams to meet strict SLA targets in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in large-scale operations with 5+ years of people leadership.
• Deep expertise in server hardware, data center tech, and cluster reliability.
• Experience leading multi-site 24/7 operations in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Own cluster uptime across 5+ sites, ensuring SLA and exceptional reliability.
• Lead a 250+ person operations team including site managers, supervisors and technicians.
• Drive remediation of failed nodes/racks via command-line and physical intervention.
• Coordinate with facilities, networking, and tenants for downtime planning.
• Oversee vendor execution for repairs, replacements, and capacity work.
• Lead SRE with proactive health monitoring and incident response.
• Lead continuous improvement to raise uptime and SLA performance.
• Scale operations with standardized practices across sites.
