Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead a growing team responsible for maintaining high uptime across multi-site HPC infrastructure. You will own incident response, hardware RCA, and automation initiatives that reduce repair time and improve reliability across datacenters.

This role requires deep hardware expertise, experience scaling SRE in AI compute environments, and the ability to partner with engineering, facilities, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years leading technical teams in large-scale operations.
• Alternative: 10+ years in large-scale ops with 5+ years leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior operational authority for the SRE organization and represent production reliability concerns in engineering and leadership discussions.
• Lead integrated Supercompute systems engineering reliability team responsible for reactive and proactive cluster and facilities health initiatives.
• Build out the site reliability engineering sub-teams: compute hardware failure analysis, software tools, cluster monitoring, and integrated site reliability engineering.
• Define organizational structure and develop a culture of 24/7 operational excellence.
• Establish interfaces with Datacenter Operations, engineering teams, vendors, and other service owners.
