Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a Director of Accounting Operations to lead and scale the company’s core accounting operations function. The role focuses on building a disciplined, audit-ready organization capable of supporting rapid growth, global expansion, increasing transaction complexity, and future public-company requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting operations, controllership, or corporate accounting in high-growth or multinational environments.
• CPA preferred and experience with complex product-based industries is strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to build scalable processes, close timelines, and effective internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize monthly and quarterly close processes for accuracy and speed.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, accruals, and reconciliations across global entities.
• Strengthen internal controls and documentation; partner with IT and Finance Systems to improve ERP processes.
• Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and outsourced partners while scaling the team.
