Job summary

Capital One is seeking an innovator to lead the Generative AI Training platform team in Cambridge. You will architect and scale AI infrastructure, including distributed training, RL workflows, and GPU scheduling, enabling researchers and engineers to train and deploy models efficiently.

Ideal candidates have a passion for cutting-edge AI research, strong systems design skills, and a track record of delivering reliable, scalable platforms in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI platform infrastructure and scalable training pipelines.
• Ability to evaluate build-vs-buy decisions across OSS and SaaS AI tools.
• Experience with GPU resource management and cost governance.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, scientists, PMs to deliver AI-powered products.
• Oversee design, development, testing, deployment of core platform systems.
• Manage distributed training, RL workflows, and fair-share GPU scheduling.
