THE ROLE & SCHEDULE

The KidStrong General Manager will focus on developing a team of coaches, training, and member experience. The ideal candidate must be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum and have experience in leading a team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High-energy, hyper-organized, passionate leader
  2. Self-motivated and hungry to meet and beat goals
  3. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including at least evenings (last class ends at 7 pm) and weekends (at least 1 weekend morning)
  4. Passion for working with people
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Ability to lead a team and drive for excellence
  7. Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  8. Previous experience in management
  9. CPR certification is a plus
  10. Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  11. Customer service experience
  12. Sales experience in selling memberships is a plus

DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Oversee Center
  2. Ensure sales goals are met
  3. Effectively utilize a CRM and sales systems
  4. Lead and train leadership team and coaches
  5. Oversee marketing plans
  6. Engage with the community
  7. Drive revenue streams of the business
  8. Make sales phone calls, respond to emails, and generate new business
  9. Manage existing memberships
  10. Achieve Director Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team
  11. Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families
  12. Continuously assess and document performance of coaches
  13. Onboard, manage, train, and evaluate coaching candidates
  14. Monitor staffing levels and recruit future talent
  15. Attend monthly HQ programming rollout
  16. Lead team meetings and support center-level initiatives
  17. Complete daily administrative tasks including membership management and reporting of daily KPIs
  18. Manage center-level stock of inventory and supplies
  19. Manage expenses and overall profitability of centers
  20. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center
  21. Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational environment
  22. Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues
  23. Flexibility to shift hours as needed
  24. Execute lead generation and marketing strategies to increase sales
  25. Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service
  26. Work closely with Assistant Manager and Area Developer
  27. Schedule and assist in the execution of community events
