Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking a Director of AI Platforms & Engineering to define and lead the company-wide AI platform strategy, architecture, and engineering capabilities. You will own the standards, governance, and scalable solutions enabling secure, reliable AI across the organization.

You will drive multi-year platform roadmaps spanning data, ML, agentic, and AI-enabled BI, ensuring integration with enterprise data and governance requirements.

• Define enterprise AI platform strategy and reference architecture.
• Own and evolve AI platforms, services, frameworks, and APIs.
• Set engineering standards and governance for AI capabilities.
• Drive production software engineering practices (CI/CD, testing).
• Lead multi-year platform roadmaps, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and security teams.
