Job summary

ezCater, based in Boston, MA, seeks a Director of Fulfillment Network Optimization to own strategies and day-to-day operations ensuring reliable fulfillment at scale. Reporting to the VP of Delivery & Fulfillment, you will unite delivery operations, data intelligence, and strategic partnerships.

• 7-10 years of delivery, logistics, or fulfillment operations experience.
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Proven data analytics skills with translating data into actions.
• Experience mapping and innovating operational processes with a bias toward automation.
• Track record of leveraging cross-functional stakeholders for high-impact projects.
• Technology orientation with product/engineering collaboration.
• Executive presence with strong verbal and written communication.
• Thrives in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 5 days per quarter for events.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end relationship management for the dispatch and self-delivery network.
• Drive growth through accountable frameworks and incentives for top customer experiences.
• Balance capacity against demand across the network while closing coverage gaps.
• Negotiate and secure commercial agreements with delivery organizations.
• Ensure data quality and uptime across delivery integrations and feedback loops.
• Develop customer-facing delivery programs for premium use cases and strategic channels.
• Build scalable solutions for high-touch and enterprise customers.
• Translate fulfillment data into monitoring frameworks and actionable insights.
• Test hypotheses using data to improve network performance.
• Guide integration of new data sources to deepen visibility.
