Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Director of Fraud Program Strategy, Governance & Operations to shape how Schwab prioritizes and governs Fraud investments. You will coordinate fraud prevention, authentication, and identity verification capabilities across business, technology, and risk teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that reduce fraud risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in fraud portfolio management, business operations, enterprise transformation, strategy execution, program management, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams and developing talent in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to establish governance and operating models translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
• Experience building centralized enterprise functions with clear accountability.
• Experience leading prioritization, dependency management, capacity planning, and cross-functional execution.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, navigate ambiguity, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding executive communication skills and development of strategic recommendations and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Own prioritization recommendations and strategic investment guidance to align with enterprise objectives and capacity.
• Lead complex fraud challenges, identify gaps, and develop enterprise strategies that balance risk with client experience and efficiency.
• Translate fraud, risk, or operational challenges into actionable roadmaps and investment plans.
• Partner with business, technology, and risk teams to deliver firm-wide capabilities against fraud threats.
• Define program governance frameworks, ensuring timely decisions and transparency across stakeholders.
• Shape the fraud technology roadmap by evaluating tools and AI capabilities.
