Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Director to lead Fraud Program Strategy, Governance & Operations. This role shapes prioritization, governance, and investments across Fraud, partnering with Business, Technology, and Risk to deliver end-to-end solutions that mitigate fraud risk.

Reporting to the Managing Director of 1st Line Fraud Risk Management, the role drives strategic roadmaps, planning, and execution in a highly matrixed environment to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fraud portfolio management or related roles.
• 5+ years leading teams in a matrix organization.
• Experience building governance and operating models.
• Ability to mature a centralized enterprise function.
• Experience leading prioritization and cross-functional execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own program governance and decision-making frameworks.
• Create operating routines across stakeholder groups.

• Evaluate and monitor program health for effectiveness and value.
