Job summary

Confidential in the United States (Sarasota area) seeks a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics. This role partners closely with the CFO and executives to provide actionable insights, drive operating performance, and support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will own the annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and management reporting while developing deep operational analytics across diverse business units, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 8+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related leadership roles.
• Strong modeling, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with multiple business models including manufacturing, software/SaaS, service, and commercial.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear executive recommendations.
• Experience with ERP, CRM and BI systems; leveraging tech/AI to improve processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and business partnering skills.
• Highly self-directed with prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, budgeting, long-range planning and rolling forecast processes.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, dashboards, and variance analyses for senior leadership.
• Partner with business leaders to analyze performance and improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards across manufacturing, software, service, commercial and corporate functions.
• Build financial models supporting pricing, capital allocation, products, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting automation, and BI capabilities.
• Support M&A activities and Board-level financial presentations as required.
• Leverage ERP/CRM/BI platforms to improve reporting quality and accelerate decision-making.
• Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team with a culture of curiosity and rigor.
