Job summary

Volumetric Building Companies (VBC) is seeking an experienced Director of FP&A to build and lead budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise-wide financial planning. Reporting to the CFO, this role will standardize reporting, drive analytical rigor, and partner with senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.

The position starts as a hands-on individual contributor with an analyst, then evolves into a broad leadership role overseeing planning, corporate reporting, and a scalable reporting

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or construction sector experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in private-equity-backed or sponsor-reporting environments, including board-grade reporting and analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end budgeting, periodic reforecasting, and long-range planning processes for the company's ongoing operations across all business units and functions.
• Produce the structured and ad hoc analysis that accompanies this reporting or is requested by stakeholders.
• Support monthly business reviews and lead company-level review with consistent analytics and follow-through actions.
