Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a Director of Fleet Applications to lead multiple engineering teams delivering Arc platform enhancements and cloud services for Digit fleets. You will align UI, web, and cloud squads, shape technical roadmaps, and drive fast, data-driven improvements while maintaining security and compliance requirements.

You will partner with Product, Architects, and TPMs to ensure timely delivery, scale multi-tenant SaaS offerings, and enable remote issue diagnostics and mobile site

Qualifications

• Led multiple engineering teams toward product delivery on a committed timeline.
• Scaled from bespoke/single-customer delivery to a multi-tenant SaaS offering (or the reverse for isolation).
• Able to review architecture proposals and argue for/against tech stack choices on merits.
• Worked with mature CI/CD pipelines and Release Engineering for faster, higher quality releases.
• Managed distributed teams of remote ICs.
• Partnered with Product and TPM counterparts and owned outcomes without needing full roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Arc Platform by crafting technical roadmap and commits to dates.
• Unify UI, web, and cloud teams under one roadmap and ensure cohesive delivery.
• Make OSS, language, and framework decisions with input from architects.
• Write requirements for SOC 2 readiness and multi-cell/single-tenant deployments.
• Develop new surfaces for remote issue resolution and mobile fleet operations.
• Lead hiring, leveling, performance, and growth for a fully distributed engineering organization.
