Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management Operations seeks a highly motivated Fixed Income Trade Support expert to partner with Portfolio Managers and Traders across the trade lifecycle.

You will monitor data quality, resolve issues impacting execution, settlement, and client reporting, and contribute to process improvements using automation and AI. Strong collaboration with MSIM teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of fixed income trade support or middle office experience.
• Experience supporting front-to-back workflows from execution through settlement and reporting.
• Strong understanding of fixed income markets and lifecycle events (treasuries, corporate bonds, ABS, etc.).
• Proficiency with trade management, confirmations/settlement, reconciliations, and operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to PMs and Traders across fixed income and FX, ensuring timely processing from execution through settlement.
• Act as primary front-office contact for trade lifecycle controls, booking quality, and operational readiness.
• Proactively resolve trade lifecycle issues (capture, allocations, confirmations, settlement, etc.) and escalate material risks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve straight-through processing, and implement automation/AI-enabled solutions.
