Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Director to lead Finance ERP technology, translating the leadership vision into a world-class Workday Financials architecture. You will collaborate across Finance, IT and the business to accelerate modernization and ensure a scalable, compliant financial platform.

The role requires a decade in healthcare finance leadership, deep Workday experience, and a proven ability to align ERP design with strategic priorities while guiding data migration, configurations, and change

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field.
Ten (10) years of progressive finance leadership in a healthcare or complex multi-entity organization with experience in accounting, close processes and financial reporting.
Three (3) years of hands-on experience designing or administering Workday Financial Management preferred
Familiarity with Workday Financials concepts (FDM, accounting rules, business process frameworks) preferred
Healthcare finance background: grants management, fund accounting, or cost reporting familiarity preferred
Experience with Strata or other financial planning tools preferred
Proven ability to align ERP system architecture with Finance strategic business priorities
Strong executive presence; comfortable making and defending design decisions in cross-functional sessions
Ability to coordinate a team of SMEs while remaining accountable for workstream-level decisions
Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity

Responsibilities

Drive the process to identify Summa Health's financial requirements, coordinate decisions, and go-live sign-off for the Workday Financials implementation.
Serve as the central bridge between corporate finance, IT, and external system integrators to translate business requirements into a scalable Workday architecture.
Lead financial data migration, business process configurations, and change management to ensure a successful go-live.

Summary

Responsible for managing Finance ERP technology and tools and works directly with the Finance Leadership team to design the future architecture and drive the Finance Technology modernization roadmap. Minimum Qualifications

Formal Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field
Experience and Training Required:

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
