Job summary

ADARx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in San Diego seeks an Associate Director/Director of Financial Reporting to lead external reporting and technical accounting as the company moves toward a public-company environment.

The role partners with accounting, finance, legal, HR, and external auditors. It will involve SEC filings, disclosure controls, and SOX readiness, with final title based on experience.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Experience with SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of Form 10-Q and 10-K and related SEC filings.
• Draft financial statements footnotes, MD&A, and disclosures.
• Oversee close process and supporting schedules for external reporting.
• Manage equity accounting, including stock-based compensation.
• Develop and maintain SEC reporting policies and internal controls.
