Job description

About Us
At Crescendo, we’re transforming customer experience with Augmented AI—a seamless blend of human expertise and AI automation that delivers better, faster, more scalable support. We’re not just changing how support works. We’re reshaping the economics of an entire industry.

The Role

Crescendo is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to elevate our financial capabilities.

This role is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for driving strategic insights, owning the financial planning process, and supporting organizational decision-making. You will enhance our financial model, lead budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with senior leadership on initiatives affecting financial performance. Delivering data-driven insights, operationalizing KPIs, and leading scalable planning processes are essential.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial modeling skills and experience leading an annual financial planning process. Experience in a SaaS environment, including knowledge of ARR reporting, GTM Finance, and Deal Desk review, is highly desirable.

This position reports to the VP of Finance and offers significant growth opportunities as Crescendo scales.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Own, manage, and improve the financial model, including forecasts, scenario planning, and long-term planning.
  2. Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting processes in collaboration with department leaders.
  3. Prepare monthly financial reports, highlighting key trends, KPIs, and variances.
  4. Deepen understanding of revenue and operational drivers, improve reporting processes, and recommend enhancements.
  5. Support Board and investor reporting with clear analysis and storytelling.
  6. Partner with the Accounting team to streamline the monthly close and variance analysis.
  7. Assist business leaders with ad hoc financial analyses, including pricing, pipeline, bookings, and sales metrics.
  8. Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes to support growth.

What We Expect From You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking, preferably in a high-growth environment.
  • Expert in financial modeling, with experience automating reports using Power Query and similar tools.
  • Knowledge of SaaS metrics like ARR, bookings, and net revenue retention; experience with GTM organizations and Deal Desk is a plus.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and senior presentations.
  • Ability to switch between strategic discussions and detailed analysis seamlessly.
  • Proactive, curious, detail-oriented, with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Experience with M&A, post-acquisition integration, and investor reporting is advantageous.

What You’ll Get In Return:

  • Remote work flexibility
  • Competitive salary
  • Generous vacation policy
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, applicable per country
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Mentorship, feedback, and cross-functional growth prospects
