Job Description:

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), De Novo will report to the Senior Director of FP&A - Operations. The successful candidate will develop modeling and performance management processes, including reporting, business reviews, forecasting, and early risk/opportunity signals related to de novos. They will collaborate on annual and strategic planning for the de novo site portfolio, working closely with senior leaders on financial performance metrics such as ROI, payback, startup costs, and benchmarks. The Manager will maintain proforma models used for site openings, partner with accounting during close processes, and perform financial analysis and reporting. Strong communication skills are essential for synthesizing and presenting results to business partners and executives. The role involves building partnerships across functions including Operations, Strategy, HR, IT, and Legal.

This position allows for remote work and requires travel for meetings. Our corporate office is in White Plains, NY.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving innovation in de novo performance management as a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ensuring best-in-class performance management processes to maximize results.
  • Managing financial reporting obligations and relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Assessing and implementing reporting technology to support scaling, in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Analyzing business trends at corporate and clinic levels, interpreting and communicating findings to leadership.
  • Managing the close process for de novo maturity recognition and acting as a liaison to detect and resolve P&L issues.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 5 years of finance experience, including business analytics and financial forecasting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., marketing, finance, operations); MBA preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficiency in Business Intelligence software is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze trends and present insights clearly.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Diplomacy, influence, and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ownership, results orientation, and the ability to overcome obstacles.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment.

Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $160,000 depending on experience.
