Job summary

EY-Parthenon – Deals – Financial Diligence – Buy Side is seeking a Director to lead financial diligence engagements, analyze data, and guide clients through complex transactions. You’ll work with large organizations and private equity, driving value and reducing risk across diligence phases.

You’ll manage teams, develop staff, and present findings to senior management while collaborating across EY-Parthenon’s global deals platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with ~4 years of related work experience.
• Significant public accounting experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
• You must either reside in or be within commutable distance to your office location for this position.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and identify key trends behind performance.
• Discuss business performance and forecast assumptions with senior team management.
• Help write reports that set out findings and recommendations around key financial and business issues in a transaction.
• Help develop staff and seniors ensuring their career development.
