Job summary

Bennett College is seeking a Director of Financial Aid to provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid programs. You will ensure compliance, integrity, and efficient delivery while partnering with Enrollment Management and IT to support student access and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven years of progressive experience in financial aid administration.
• Minimum three years of supervisory or leadership experience within a financial aid office.
• Demonstrated experience administering Title IV federal financial aid programs.
• Thorough knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with financial aid management systems and student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Office of Financial Aid in alignment with the College's mission and enrollment goals.
• Develop and evaluate departmental policies, procedures, and operational efficiencies.
• Serve as the primary advisor to senior leadership on regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Management to support recruitment, yield, retention, and persistence initiatives.
• Oversee administration of all federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid programs.
• Coordinate preparations for audits, program reviews, and compliance examinations.
