Job summary

Flex-Tek, a division of Smiths, seeks an experienced Director of Finance Shared Services to design, implement, and lead a high-performing Finance Shared Services Centre. You will build the operating model from the ground up, recruit and develop the team, and drive process transformation across core finance operations.

Reporting to the CFO, you will establish governance, SLAs, and performance metrics, partner with senior leaders, and deliver accurate, timely financial services to the business

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering Shared Services models.
• Strong accounting controls knowledge and governance experience.
• Project and change management expertise.
• Process improvement and automation capability.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Finance Shared Services operating model.
• Develop service delivery standards, governance structures, and SLAs.
• Lead migration of finance activities into the shared services environment.
• Establish policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across finance processes.
• Build and lead a high-performing SSC organization and recruit talent.
• Partner with CFO and senior leaders; present performance metrics.
