Job summary

Smiths Group is seeking a Director of Finance Shared Services to architect and lead a dedicated shared services center. You will design the operating model, establish governance and SLAs, and migrate finance activities from business units into the SSC environment.

Reporting to the CFO, you will build and lead a high-performing team, drive process transformation, ERP implementation support, and ensure timely, accurate finance services to the business during a pivotal growth phase.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing or transforming Finance Shared Services operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting controls and governance.
• Proven track record in project and change management.
• Ability to drive automation and process standardization.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Finance Shared Services operating model.
• Develop service delivery standards, governance, and escalation procedures.
• Lead migration of finance activities into shared services.
• Establish policies, SOPs, internal controls, and SLAs.
