Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Director of Finance Shared Service within the Finance Controller's Office to lead AskFinance operations, including intake, triage, case management, and escalation. The role oversees staffing, workload, and resource planning to meet service demand and uphold performance standards.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in shared services or finance operations, with proven ability to improve processes, governance, and stakeholder collaboration across a large healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in leading shared services or finance operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead AskFinance operations: intake, triage, case management, and escalation processes.
• Oversee staffing, workload balancing, and resource planning to meet service demand.
• Monitor volumes, cycle times, backlog, quality, and customer feedback to drive improvements.
• Establish service levels, dashboards, and reporting; govern AskFinance performance.
• Develop standardized procedures, workflows, and knowledge resources for consistent delivery.
• Collaborate with technology and process teams to enhance tools and user experience.
• Drive continuous improvement and a strategic roadmap for scaling services.
